I've been doing a bit of random websurfing, and found OpSound which is, as it explains on it's home page

Opsound is a record label and sound pool using an open source, copyleft model, an experiment in practical gift economics, a laboratory for new ways of releasing music.

If you've got a fast connection have a dig around. As usual most of it is probably crap, but there may be some pearls in there! Especially as soundtrack material. For instance, the thing in my Current Music is sort of "industrial ambient". Would probably annoy many people, but I find it kinda interesting. Looped, it could make a good general backing track for Iteration X scenes.
