Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Great fun in Victorian Nights last night!

I often like to take stock of what I was doing and compare it with what some imagined "normal" person might think of it.

In game, I was playing a mad vampire crawling around on the floor of a burn-out building trying to hide from a werewolf.

I can imagine, should I be feeeling in stirring mode, on going to work on Monday and being asked "What did you do over the weekend?" replying to the query with "Well, I spent Saturday night crawling around the floor with a lady who was pretending to be a dog."

I like to make these comparisons between what I do and what people might think were they to see merely the actions, without understanding the rationale.

I suppose in some ways it's because it makes me feel like I'm still the bad boy rebel I thought was in my youth.

In other ways, I like to remind myself constantly not to judge other people's actions, without at least trying to understand the context of the action.

Jarrat's birthday today. Leaving soon, bearing a hat, a cell phone, Pocky G and gifts.

An enjoyable evening of lazing around doing time wasting things, such as talking about anime and roleplaying, eating various cheeses, watching Jarrat do the dance game, fiddling with Singstar, a game of Puerto Rico, etc.

Malcolm and and I let Jarrat win at Puerte Rico because it was his birthday.

Nice foodstuffs, decadent chocolate orange cake, jalapeno cheese, aged gouda, and then large home made pizzas with lotst of toppings.
