I'd say Doomed to failure, but we'll see. Any success whatsoever relies ultimately on the release date. The Star Trek MMO is due for release late 2007 and that will suck up all decent sci fi MMO players. Given the choice between the two Star Trek would inevitably win, with a 30 year old established fanbase of computer wielding geeks allready in place.

MMO players rarely play more than one game ar once, 2 games would be the common maximum, there just isn't enough time to play more.
