Dreamwatch : Snatches

mundensAs I stumbled out of bed this morning, and made my bleary way down the hall the following was echoing around in my head from my dream-state :
Can't remember much else about my dreams except that, as there often are, there were large institutional bathrooms and lavatories, and airfields.
There was strange blue helicopter with a yellow-and-black painted "mid-rotor" that meant you had to crawl under the helicopter if you got out on the wrong side, which I obviously did, and we were using it to get down from the top of a building rather than taking the lift purely because we could.
We wanted to get down to the ground floor of the building (which was on an airfield and sort of like a large version of Support Group HQ, for those that remember Wigram) quickly to get a better view of the impressive flight show of scale model jet aircraft including 2 metre wingspan Boeing 727. jaadfan had something to do with the display., like controlling or manufacturing one of the aircraft.
In an unrelated dream there was an advert for a concert tour organized by Tim Finn, co-billing Bic Runga and a group called "The SouNZ". It was a play on the fact that they came from the south of New Zealand and made music. I don't think there is such a group, but on searching, I did find that The Centre for New Zealand Music has the domain sounz.org.nz.
This morning my work colleagues were excited over my christmnas gift frombekittyand kityfarmer, a good start to the work year I think!
And after I'd deleted the 25 emails telling me my mailbox was too large, it wasn't.
My lover arrives in Wellington at 6.15pm this evening! Squeee!!!
Edit: And now it seems she won't be. Fuck.
