Loosing My Religion
May. 1st, 2005 09:43 pmNo, that’s not mis-spelled.
Well, wasn’t that interesting?
I’m not surprised my atheism score is lower than might be expected. There were several questions that were obviously designed to be agreed to by atheists, but which I don’t agree with such as :
“All life organisms alive today were created through random processes.”
It’s pretty damn obvious that atheists were supposed to agree strongly with this one, but it’s just not true! The universe is completely deterministic, not random, it just appears random because we don’t have perfect knowledge (and theoretically never could have).
Even ignoring the underlying deterministic nature of the universe, organisms were not created following random processes, but via chaotic processes, which is not the same thing.
So, I’m a Satanist who doesn’t believe in Satan. Which is unsurprising, seeing as I’m also a Christian who doesn’t believe in god.
So anyone for a completely secular Black Mass?
Bring your own virgin, my one’s busted.

![]() | You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.
