Actually sounds pretty interesting.

The Guardian ran a research challenge (http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/news/0,12597,1210455,00.html), pitting google vs the library vs actually phoning people to ask questions. Phone was almost always slowest, but library managed a few wins over google.
