Emergency Callout

As my previous post indicated, there I was happily sitting at home, sipping the old Glenlivet, watching old NIN music videos off my massive hard drive ( the Deep video with the toxic dye) . I was just considering whether I'd sit up a bit more or head off to bed, when I get an emergency callout!

Yes, it seems there were these three lovely ladies just up the road who couldn't get their wine bottle open for lack of a corkscrew. So what would you do if three lovely ladies rung you up at 10pm on a Friday night asking for a corkscrew? That's right Trev, I took them a corkscrew!

Suffice it to say that the ladies in question were grateful for my 1337 wine-opening skills, and we had, among other things, an interesting discussion about erotica, and some yummy Kapiti whiskey cheese.

Got home around 1am, after the evening turned into something other than a nice quiet night in after all!!

Turns out I was the last person standing at the pub from our work function. No fun drinking alone, or with an entirely unknown crowd, so I went home.

Today I have decided that Guiness beer is too strong and that I don't really like it. But the problem was everyone kept buying me that flavour because they thought it was ...

Can't complain much though because a) I wasn't sick b) I don't have a hangover, despite starting on still wines amd c) it was free.

According to her non-IC LJ it is, yes. My LJ client automatically tells me when it;s a persons borthday if they have one listed in their info.

Yeah, I always pick out birthdays for my characters. Pretty much at random. It's so I can then read their horoscopes. Always fun. ^__^
