Half of those guys must be totally lying about the hours played a week. Except the FAT kid and the cripple, they're the only honest ones. I play LOTR online 30-40 hours a week as well as working full time.

Would like to see a more extensive survey done of that sort of thing. Worth noting that Second Life isn't an MMO, it's more of an online social network and appeals to a significantly different type of person that standard MMO gamers. Also worth mentioning is games like WoW and LOTRO and other AMerican games are largely degregated by race. There are different servers for USA, NZ and Ausie, Asia, and Europe, mainly due to language and cultural differences. So if the journalist appeared slightly biased towards any one race that may just be the limits of his research base. Far more Asians play MMO's and online games than any other country but they have a lot more and different games to play.
