Music Again.
Jun. 9th, 2008 04:40 pmFirst thing on my player this morning? Placebo's Pure Morning. Matched my own seediness as I stumbled onto the train. Day's dawning, skins crawling. Sunglasses are your friend in the morning light.
So I think a goffik version of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer" should be done with the title words changed to be what we all though they were to begin with, along with other minor but appropriate changes :
Weekend was spent cleaning and sleeping and mucking around. Now have non-mouldy shower, and a dry and clean bedroom with sheets changed and lots of washing done. Threw out some more clothes. Need to get pile of such down to clothing bin, including
panda_pitt's discarded stuff.
Looking forward to visit from
seraphs_folly.
Clothing and shoe purchases last week, plus random purchase of a new NetGear wireless hub/router have put back my plans for Bluetooth headsets and guitars, but the new router seems to be able to deal with Telstra's momentary cable modem outages without crashing (touch woody). Must sell the LinkSys one. And probably the Level One one as well.
Doing some actual code at work, so feeling happy!

But I can see you - your white skin shinin' in the moonMade me reminisce a bit. Tried to play some guitar last night. Failed. Need real guitar soon.
You got your hair frizzed up and your sunglasses on, baby
And I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the poison summer has gone
