So was just watching Dr Who S4 The Stolen Earth on Prime, in which Rose Tyler turns up with a big gun, and it reminded me strongly of the Megatokyo posters & shirts. So I thought I'd share the idea :

Some of the shots really reminded me of some frames from Transmetropolitan too, when the Filthy Assistants went gun shopping.

I think it's just a very iconic image type - cute girl with a big gun - it seeps through a lot of media and art.
