So for those who don't read

seraphs_folly's journal, we're over.

After a lovely time in Hamner last week, and another lovely time at the cottage with the Grays over the weekend, during which I got to wish

bigby_wolf happy birthday, and didn't end up getting to

vizi's farewell party, somehow it all fell apart on Tuesday.

It took until late last night for me to give up trying to fix it. It was sudden, unexpected, and has completely drained me. I'll be spending some time trying to get over it.

I think there's something wrong with me, both of my only two long term lovers have said they didn't want partners and sex after leaving me. I suppose two doesn't really constitute a pattern, but it's worrying.

Now, once again, I have to find some reason to live, some reason to bother getting up and going to work and paying for a house I don't want. One again I have nothing to look forward too, and I'm almost two years older and uglier than the last time it happened.

And then to top it all off, just as

seraphs_folly made her post, Ele randomly turned up with

wasup_bro. You can imagine I wasn't particularly pleased to see her. But Ben was with her and so he got the dinosaur I bought him while in Hamner.

I've showered and shaved, and trimmed my beard, a sort of ritualistic "washing that (wo)man right out of my hair" thing i suppose.

I'm going to go buy fish and chips for tea, chocolate, maybe a bottle of whiskey, and go sing myself hoarse to music like Bridget Jones did.
