mundens | Another weekend gone.

Can't be bothered writing much, too many other things to do!

Friday was a good day, drinks and nibbles in the board-room to welcome the latest graduate intake. I've been assigned one to look after. Went down to

katipocafe for some beer, wedges, and chat, and went home early, to get some rest. Still stayed up late talking to

seraphs_folly though. So much for good intentions!

Saturday

evie_fae picked up

bigby_wolf and took him shopping.

stephanie_pegg dropped in for some tea, after unfortunately discovering that the Home of Compassion gala I'd posted about earlier wasn't on the Saturday after all. Sorry about that Steph, especially if there was anyone else who got caught by that. That'll teach me for posting information told to me verbally without verifying it!

Still, we had a couple of nice cups of chai and a chat!

Rest of the day passed lazily, a bit of tidying up of gaming stuff and guitar playing for me, X-box for

bigby_wolf once he got back.

Then off to

taraxgoat's stag-do. Started with lots of drinking and chat at J's place. Then into town where I spent too much at Mermaids as always happens when one gets there pissed. Some of the dancers were quite energetic, and one claimed whilst leaning in close to have been last year's NZ champion lap-dancer. Good marketing tactic, but ultimately it didn't work, I managed to stop myself from 'experiencing the champion', purely for financial reasons, of course!

It was interesting watching the faces of those who had obviously not been there, or to similar places, before. Especially one young lad in another party. Still the preponderance of naked flesh in the first tier is quite high compared to some spots. The man of the evening got the obligatory special attention.

Then back to J's and home in time for breakfast.

bigby_wolf and I smoked a clove, not a kipper, as the greyness on the horizon heralded Sunday's arrival.

Sunday was completely lazy, and of course didn't start until after midday anyway, and just like Friday, ended with Still staying up late talking to

seraphs_folly. It's getting to be a habit! :)

Today I bought clothing, got a hair-cut and made an appointment with the doctor tomorrow for a check-up.

Wednesday is Number Three Son's birthday, will be going to dinner with the family.
